Thank you for purchasing your new family member from us and we welcome you into our dachshund family. We are including our health guarantee for your peace of mind and will be available for any questions/concerns for the lifetime of your puppy. We have raised all of our puppies with love and care. We want you to enjoy them and love them as we have.

CONDITION OF SALE IF ANY: All puppies sold as pets must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age performed by a licensed veterinarian.
 
 
SECTION 3: HEALTH/WELFARE & GUIDELINES TO PROTECT BOTH PARTIES
 
1) BREEDER guarantees that the above dog is purebred and registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) unless otherwise specified; ALL puppies must be registered with the prefix of Sarah's Darlin followed by the name of your choice.
2) BREEDER cannot guarantee adult size, color, coat, temperament, or train ability of the puppy
3) BREEDER does not assume any liability for any injury or neglect to the puppy after delivery
4) BREEDER warrants that this puppy has been wormed and vaccinated in accordance to its age, and both parties agree that it appears healthy at the time of sale. Sarah's Darlin Dachshund's does NOT vaccinate against Leptos! It is not a prevalent disease in this area and is known to cause serious side affects/reactions in small breeds. Please refrain from using vaccines containing Leptos! Buyer realizes that the purchase of a live animal carries with it the risk of said puppy contracting various vermin, bacteria, or viruses that are not in the control of either seller or buyer. Beyond the 3 day health guarantee, the seller offers NO GUARANTEE ON INFECTIOUS DISEASES
5) BREEDER microchips all puppies with AKC reunite ISO microchips. At pickup, BREEDER will register chips with new owner's information as the primary contact along with BREEDER as the alternate contact (there is a one-time fee of $17.50 that will be charged to BUYER'S debit/credit card) . This is to protect your puppy and BREEDER'S interest to insure that no offspring of Sarah's Darlin Dachshunds is unaccounted for. BREEDER MUST ALWAYS BE LISTED AS ALTERNATE CONTACT!
6) BUYER agrees to have puppy examined by a veterinarian within 3 business days of delivery. IF after examination, acceptable to both parties, the puppy is determined to be in poor health, puppy may be returned to the seller with a written report from the veterinarian. The seller will replace the puppy with another as soon as one is available of the same sex and value. NO CASH REFUNDS. At no time will the seller be responsible for any vet fees incurred.
7) BUYER agrees this puppy is sold with a 1 year health guarantee against hereditary diseases, IF after examination by a veterinarian, acceptable to both parties, the puppy is determined to have a disease, puppy may be returned to the seller along with all of the paperwork in exchange for another puppy of the same value or the puppy can be kept along with all expenses incurred.
8) In the event of death of the puppy, an autopsy must be performed at the buyer's expense to prove cause of death. IF death is caused by hereditary defect or disease, a refund or replacement will be provided at the BREEDER'S discretion.
9) BUYER needs to be aware that a puppy is a baby and that sometimes it may get sick due to stress or other related reasons. He/she is leaving our home and is entering a new environment and stress related illness can occur. We try our best for a happy, health puppy. Proper care is a MUST. Buyer agrees to furnish the puppy with proper care, quality food, fresh water, shelter, and veterinary care as needed for the life of the canine.
10) Buyer agrees to notify Sarah's Darlin Dachshunds if he/she is unable to care for or keep the canine at any time for any reason. The BREEDER is given the first option to take the canine back or to find it a good home. DO NOT take the canine to the animal shelter. If the puppy is returned under these circumstances, NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. Once the puppy leaves SELLER'S property, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
